Boing Boing - How to Survive a Police Encounter (Because It's Bound to be Violent and Hostile)

Boing Boing simply cannot help itself when it comes to showing anti-police material and/or how to avoid being detected while committing a crime. Why the Left has such hate for law enforcement, when it's so necessary to enforce their socialist ideals, is beyond me.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that conservatives liked the Constitution. This film merely instructs citizens on how to calmly and correctly affirm their 4th amendment rights against unreasonable search & seizure during an encounter with law enforcement.

Well, I'm not a Conservative, but I do "like" the Constitution. I admit that I don't like Boing Boing, and I'll watch the film more closely. If you're correct, and make an update on the post.

Okay, I watched it again part of the way through, and my opinion remains the same.

First, the title of the film is "Surviving Police Encounters." That's quite loaded to begin with. I've been stopped for speeding and other reasons, and have been treated with respect and without suspicion everytime. And so the idea that one must be prepared to "survive" a police encounter makes a serious implication about the police in general.

Second, the kids in the car with the dope _were_ guilty of a crime, and in my opinion (although he was portrayed as something of a power-hungry fascist), the police officer did what he was supposed to do: he went on a hunch (based on the kids' guilty behavior), and used tactics to get legal access to the car. In the second version, his tactics were merely ineffective and the kids got away with their crime.

And so, sorry, but the video still seems to me a guide for criminals to avoid being caught.
